International collaborations among many artists, individuals, and companies will manifest artistic and intellectual exchanges in an artistic lab.

PLANKTON MANIFESTO generates awareness and brings together ideas, senses, shapes, and sounds through art installations, performances, concerts, science projects, conferences, panel discussions, educational workshops, gastronomy, and fashion.

PLANKTON MANIFESTO creates a myriad of unique possibilities to join forces with many different professionals: visual artists, musicians, designers, architects, fishermen, nutritionists, marine biologists and scientists.

Creators from all around the world manifest their dreams through their knowledge, expertise, and experience sharing the vision and mission to preserve underwater life.

The Manifesto celebrates Plankton. These drifting creatures sustain ocean ecosystems, serve as the basis of the marine food chain, and produce a similar amount of oxygen as all of the world’s forests combined. Also, they influence carbon export to deeper ocean waters through many-fold ecological and physical processes.

In addition to the artistic mission, PLANKTON MANIFESTO also fulfills an important task in the context of the
17 UN Sustainability Goals, specifically in the context of Goal #14 “Life Below Water”.
